About The Project
This kitchen was a long time in the making, with our design team preparing the concept over two years before our clients’ new-build home was even out of the ground. The final result is a testament to our designers’ skill in creating timeless and elegant kitchen spaces.
From the outset, the brief was to design a kitchen that balanced understated tones with striking detailing, all whilst maximising the natural light afforded by the property’s large floor-to-ceiling windows.
The Design Concept
The soft taupe-coloured cabinetry established a warm, neutral foundation, elevated by sharp accents of matt black for a modern edge. Bespoke handles, a Quooker Flex tap, and a Blanco sink provided both aesthetic definition and practical luxury. The abundant natural light from the expansive glazing allowed for the bold introduction of a dramatic extra-dark charcoal worktop, complete with a subtle taupe veining that beautifully tied back to the door frontals.
The design also integrated thoughtful storage solutions and sleek symmetry across appliances, ensuring a seamless flow throughout the space. Every element was chosen not just for its appearance, but also to deliver functionality that met the everyday needs of the client whilst maintaining a luxury aesthetic.
The Result
The finished kitchen exudes modern elegance, combining a soft, timeless palette with contemporary accents. The interplay of light and dark creates depth and balance, whilst the expansive glazing ensures the space always feels bright and inviting. The worktop’s bold veining detail ties the whole design together, providing a focal point that anchors the room.
This kitchen also highlights the craftsmanship of our skilled installation team. From joinery and cabinetry through to the final finishing touches, every detail was executed to the highest standard. The result is a sophisticated, highly functional kitchen that will remain stylish and practical for years to come – a true reflection of collaborative design excellence and installation expertise.
The Details
This kitchen showcases the perfect blend of precision and elegance, with every detail carefully considered. The striking matt black Quooker Flex Tap and matching Blanco sink create a bold contrast against the soft taupe cabinetry, while the dark charcoal worktop with subtle veining ties the scheme together seamlessly.
Clean lines and flawless joinery highlight the craftsmanship, particularly in the seamless alignment of the handleless units. Large-format porcelain floor tiles enhance the sense of light and space, complemented by floor-to-ceiling glazing that floods the room with natural light. Together, these features create a kitchen that is both highly functional and effortlessly stylish.
