About The Project
Our design team created this Callerton masterpiece which displays an array of carefully considered features. The brief called for a kitchen that was not only functional but also elegant and timeless. The custom-built floating mantel area became a true centrepiece of the design. By choosing to float the mantel, the client could make full use of the work surface on either side of the sink, maximising preparation space and creating a clean, balanced layout. The curved features of the mantel tied in seamlessly with the curved breakfasting area, ensuring flow and harmony throughout the space. Mirrors were strategically installed to reflect the beauty of the garden, bringing natural colour and vibrancy indoors.
The Design Concept
The kitchen was designed with timeless elegance at its core. Lark white cabinetry provided a light, fresh backdrop while the brushed brass hardware added warmth and refinement. The floating mantel design introduced a striking architectural element, enhanced by the thoughtful integration of curves across the kitchen’s breakfasting and dining zones. The use of mirrors not only amplified the natural light but also drew the outdoors into the home, blurring the lines between inside and out. Careful attention was given to materials, with stone surfaces chosen for their durability and understated beauty, ensuring that the space remained as practical as it was sophisticated.
