About The Project

A perfectly positioned booth, offering stunning views over the Glasgow skyline, was central to the design of this expansive kitchen in a modern three-storey property in the city’s leafy suburbs. Equally important was the integration of this bespoke seating within an island area. The Tobacco Walnut Accent colour of the booth complements the home’s ceiling beams, while the Sparkling White Corian worktop is skilfully wrapped around the booth to create a seamless flow. The Callerton furniture, finished in Matt Lacquer Graphite, is paired with premium Gaggenau appliances from the distinguished 400 series.

The Design Concept

The design team set out to create a space that would not only serve as a highly functional kitchen but also as a hub for family life and entertaining. By incorporating a bespoke circular booth into the island, the space brings together dining, socialising, and cooking in one striking feature. The warm tones of the Tobacco Walnut highlight the natural wood beams above, while the sleek Matt Graphite cabinetry ensures a sophisticated modern edge. The Corian worktops extend across the kitchen with precision, integrating both practical preparation areas and luxurious dining space in one.

The Result

The result is a truly unique kitchen that balances architectural boldness with homely comfort. The booth seating has become the heart of the home, drawing people together while framing spectacular skyline views. The combination of materials and finishes creates depth and contrast, while the Gaggenau 400 Series appliances ensure the kitchen performs to the highest professional standards. Blending elegance with innovation, this project demonstrates how considered design can transform a kitchen into a central living space.
