Our Process

The kitchen design process usually begins with a visit to our design centre in Kilmarnock. Here, a member of our Creative team will escort you on a tour of our products, and discuss your ideas, preferences and requirements.

Your appointed Creative Designer will arrange a visit to gain a feel for the space and flow of your home. They will take initial measurements and ask further questions to help us create the perfect kitchen to suit your lifestyle. If your project involves a new build or extension, the Designer will meet you to discuss your architectural drawings, either in our showroom or at your home.

Our team will work together to create a selection of initial design ideas. Your Designer will present these to you in our design centre using the very latest tools and technology. When you are completely happy with your kitchen design, we move to the next stage of finalising all colours and finishes, and selecting appliances.

Once all decisions are made, we carry out a comprehensive survey. We then produce final working electrical and installation drawings, before presenting you with a full portfolio, detailing the agreed installation times and working schedules, as well as the expected completion time. We fully manage the project from beginning to end, ensuring a smooth and efficient process for you throughout.

The week before your scheduled start date, our Installation Director will meet with you onsite to discuss any final details and carry out a Health & Safety check. On the appointed day, our Kitchen Engineers will begin as per the schedule to meticulously install your J.S. Geddes kitchen.

Our aftercare process extends far beyond the installation of your new space. Our solutions are designed to last and so is our service. We’ll remain on-hand to assist and aid you with any queries, as you enter this new chapter of your home life.
