J.S. Geddes was founded in 1984 with the aim of designing and installing luxury kitchens throughout Scotland. Since then, we have become the market leader in the UK for high-end kitchen solutions, providing unrivalled customer service and aftercare.

Our Team

J.S. Geddes provides customer service which far exceeds anything else on the market. This is because each one of our 20-strong team is highly valued, well skilled and completely passionate about the individual role they play in creating a new lifestyle for our clients.

Every single person you meet on your kitchen journey with us is employed as a permanent member of our team. This means our project managers, designers, surveyors, installers, showroom advisors and support staff all share the J.S. Geddes values and goal of surpassing expectation.

Since our conception in 1984, we have been at the forefront of training within the sector and in 2013 created an industry first by initiating an ongoing monitored training plan for each member of staff. Every employee – from client facing to behind-the-scenes – has a detailed yearly plan to enable them to progress their development and grow within the company. This training has involved visits across Europe to learn from our business partners and allow us to continue to lead the way in high-end kitchen design, supply, installation and aftercare.

We're Award Winning!

We are justifiably proud of our company and its standing in the industry. We are honoured to have won the award for UK Kitchen Retailer of the Year seven times, most recently in 2020, which is more than any other kitchen company in the whole of the UK. 

Collectively, we have won several other awards, including Scottish Home Improvement Business of the Year 2015, while individual members of our team have also been recognised. 

Our Senior Designer, Joanna Geddes, has won several national design awards, including Kitchen Designer of the Year in 2018, Concept Designer of the Year 2015 and Young Designer of the Year 2016, while our Director of Business Development, Shaun Dunbar, has been Highly Commended for his inspirational design and creative ability.
